 Growth

GROWTH is an internationalization program for the insertion of Latin American startups in Europe through one of the most promising innovation ecosystems in the world: Portugal.
Entrepreneurs with a desire for internationalization will participate in an immersion, where they will know the advantages and facilities of the country, develop an internationalization plan, have access to a series of workshops, business roundtables, visits to accelerators, incubators and local companies and mentoring with specialists .

Synthesis of Workshops by themes

The participant will have access to training materials and approximately 60 hours of lectures and workshops with experienced professionals to learn more about any aspect of their business. Here are some of the areas that will be covered:

Internationalization

The objective of this module is to provide participants the capability to formulate their internationalization projects. The Internationalization module is subdivided by several stages, starting from:
– How to identify the degree of preparation for business internationalization by the participants;
– Support in the preparation of internationalization projects;
– Development of internationalization projects;
– Mentoring for the development of those projects until the completion of the Workshop.

Elaboration of Applications for Visas and Incentives Portugal 2020 

This module focuses on explaining the incentives available to companies through the Portugal2020 program, namely to support the Internationalization of businesses, supporting the preparation of applications. In this theme you can expect:
– Identify the most appropriate incentives for your particular situation;
– Information on the requirements for applying to incentives;
– How to prepare an application;
– Support in the preparation of your application.

Networking and Sales Pitches

We dedicate several hours throughout this Workshop to:
– Establish new contacts;
– Expand your knowledge network in Portugal;
– Present your internationalization project to a multidisciplinary panel.

Marketing

Through this module you will:
– Analyze the European market and its trends with the help of experts;
– Identify competitive advantages;
– Identify opportunities for value creation;
– Adapt your Marketing Mix to the new market needs.

Business Management and Administration

This module will support you in establishing methodologies for analysis through the right KPIs so that you can create your own method for assessing the economic viability of your Internationalization project. In addition, you will be given information on how to manage the implementation of your project, so you can ensure that your goals are being met and what to do when the unexpected happens.

Human Resources Management in an International context

An expansion of the geographical presence of your company also implies a “division” of your team. Implementing methodologies for proper leadership at the international level is important to ensure uniformity of procedures, and also to ensure that the whole team is tuned in terms of the concrete objectives that the company intends to achieve.

Operations and Logistics

Tailor your operations and logistics to your new business needs. It is important to adapt your business operations to suit your new size and geographic presence.
